20 minutes – An ex-escort involves a Geneva art dealer

Ten years after the media coverage of the Zahia affair, a new name is highlighted. We remember the footballers Franck Ribry and Karim Benzema, suspected at the time of having had sexual intercourse with the young woman, whom they believed to be of age. But according to RTL, the testimony of an ex-escort girl could revive the file. And the person whom it implicates is none other than Yves Bouvier, famous Geneva art dealer, notably known for his legal proceedings with the Russian billionaire and president of AS Monaco Dmitri Rybolovlev. It was he who would have worked as the real proxte in this story.

In a certificate sent to justice, the former call girl said she worked for the Genevan until 2017. According to her, Bouvier organized libertine evenings at the end of the 2000s in his Parisian apartment or abroad. It was during one of these dinners, in 2009, that this woman would have met Zahia Dehar, the one by whom the scandal would happen a year later. The former escort says that the young women who participated in these evenings were paid 2000 euros per night. Yves Bouvier was responsible for paying them in cash and supported Zahia, who was silent.

Defamation lawsuits

Recall that Abousofiane Moustaid, former candidate of the Nouvelle Star, was found guilty in 2015 of aggravated proxntism notably towards Zahia Dehar. He was sentenced in June 2015, on appeal, to 3 years in prison, including 2 suspended sentences. His lawyer made a request for a preliminary ruling on Saturday to request a review of the case. Master Yassine Bouzrou believes that Zahia lied when she testified by playing around with Yves Bouvier. The Paris prosecutor’s office must now rule on the request of Me Bouzrou.

The charges of the ex-escort, now aged 49, had already been published in an article in Le Point in 2015. Yves Bouvier had then sued the newspaper for defamation and had won his trial. Today, her accuser says that the businessman forced her to stay in a Geneva hotel when she had to testify against him during the defamation trial. She also claims that the art dealer had tasked him with picking up a Swiss tax agent so that he could blackmail him and put an end to the tax audit he suffered.

Arm wrestling with Dmitri Rybolovlev

Last December, the Monaco Court of Appeal canceled the procedure against Yves Bouvier. The Genevan has been the subject of a fraud complaint since 2015 filed by the Russian billionaire Dmitri Rybolovlev. The boss of the AS Monaco football club accuses the Genevan of having defrauded him of about a billion dollars by selling him masterpieces with exorbitant margins. The lawyers for Rybolovlev announced in the crowd that they were going to appeal to the Court of Cassation.
