20 detectives investigate fatal shooting Ridderkerk | Inland

Police arrested two people in the case on Saturday. A 32-year-old woman has been released but remains a suspect, police reported on Sunday. The other suspect, a 33-year-old man, is still in custody. Both come from Rotterdam.

The police received a report around 3.15 pm that a car had been shot at in the Bolnes shopping center in Ridderkerk. A mere 2 kilometers away, on the Oostdijk in Rotterdam, officers found the car fired upon by two seriously injured men. The 30-year-old man died of his injuries shortly afterwards. The other was the driver of the car.

The involvement of the two suspects in the shooting is still being investigated. The police are asking people who took camera images of the incident or who witnessed it to report.
