In the statement made by EMU, it was said that the results of the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Examination option were announced today by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center of the Republic of Turkey.
“A total of 2,185 students from YKS were accepted to Eastern Mediterranean University this year, of which 1676 were undergraduate students and 509 were associate degree students,” the statement said.
“EMU has succeeded in becoming the preferred university in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in terms of undergraduate programmes. While 1676 students chose undergraduate programs at EMU, EMU ranked first among TRNC universities in this field.”
On the other hand, while 509 of EMU’s associate degree program quotas preferred 529, EMU fared well in this field by filling 96.21 percent of the quota.
Prof. Dr. In his statement on the subject, Hasan Kılıç wanted the results of YKS to benefit the entire higher education community of the country and he wished success to all students, especially new students who chose EMU, in the Year Academic 2024-2025.
