Extreme blizzard hits Canada: 2 dead, more than 1 million without power

Quebec Premier François Legault said in a news briefing that a man had died after being pinned by a fallen tree. Another man was accidentally killed when he was struck by a falling branch while mowing the yard at his eastern Ontario home, CTV News reports.
The main reason for the power outage was damage to wires caused by frozen tree branches.
