Aviation officials said 2 stowaways were found in the wheels of a plane flying from Chile to Colombia. The two illegal immigrants are dead.
Airline personnel found the victim’s body after the plane from Santiago landed in Bogota on Friday evening local time, AFP reported on Sunday (8/1/2023).
“Civil Aviation Authority Colombia is in close communication with the authorities of the Republic of Chile and the airline to launch an investigation,” the agency said in a statement.
The agency did not disclose the victim’s identity. But the media Colombia he described the victim as a young man.
