2 Covid-19 Patients in Riau Feel Pain in the Stomach and Ulu Hati Page all

PEKANBARU, KOMPAS.comCovid-19 Handling Task Force in Riau Province announced three new patients who have contracted Covid-19, Tuesday (07/14/2020).

“So the total is 246 cases,” Riau Covid-19 Task Force Handler Spokesman Dr. Indra Yovi told reporters in a written statement on Tuesday.

As for the details, namely, 14 patients were treated, 221 people were healed and returned, and 11 people died.

Patient number 244 initials SR (48), a resident of Siak Regency. At present the patient is isolated and treated in the City Pekanbaru.

“SR patients initially complain of pain in the abdomen, accompanied by nausea and vomiting,” said Yovi.

The patient then did a rapid test on July 10, 2020 with reactive results.

The next day, a swab examination continued at one of the private hospitals in Pekanbaru, with positive results from Covid-19.

However, no known history of transmission from this patient, because it does not have a history of close contact with positive patients Covid-19.

Then, patient number 245 initials N (42), a resident of West Java Province who travels to Riau for work.

“Patient N did a rapid test for one of the conditions for a trip back to Jakarta with reactive results. After the swab was tested, the results were positive for Covid-19,” Yovi said.

Furthermore, positive patient number 246 initials YB (40), a resident of Pekanbaru City.

The patient initially also complained of heartburn.

In addition, there are complaints of fever, cough and runny nose.

“This patient underwent a PCR examination on July 13, 2020 with positive results from Covid-19,” Yovi said.

But the history of transmission is not yet known, because it does not have a history of travel and a history of close contact with positive patients Covid-19.
