KOMPAS.com – The list of companies in Indonesia that do not have business rivals needs to be known by the wider community.
The reason is, so far people only think that PLN and Pertamina are two companies that have no rivals in Indonesia.
In fact, despite monopolizing their respective business fields, the two companies still have competitors, although not significant.
PLN has several competitors who also produce and sell electricity, although they are limited to an industrial area.
Likewise with Pertamina, the company that produces and distributes fuel oil (BBM) also has competitors.

Companies in Indonesia that have no competitors
As reported KOMPAS.com on Saturday (4/6/2022), a company in Indonesia that has no competitors, one of which is PT Asuransi Losses Raharja Service (Jasa Raharja).
The state-owned company whose shares have now been transferred by the government to the Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) which is controlled by PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (Persero).
Since the government’s series B shares were transferred to IFG and became a subsidiary of a BUMN, Jasa Raharja no longer has the status of a red plate and no longer uses Persero as its name.
PT Jasa Raharja is a company engaged in insurance, especially transportation and traffic accident insurance by providing basic protection compensation for victims.
The basic protection in question is to provide compensation or medical expenses in accordance with the provisions in PMK Numbers 15 and 16 of 2017.
