Police said two people died in the crash Fast car Jakarta Bandung (KCJB). The two victims were foreign nationals (WNA).
“Yes, that’s right (foreigners), information from West Java Regional Police Chief,” National Police Inspector General Public Relations Division Chief Dedi Prasetyo said when confirmed on Monday (12/19/2022).
Dedi said both were technicians. Both are Chinese nationals named Chang Shin Shang (40) and Chang Shin Yung (36).
“Technical workers,” he said.
In addition to the two dead, five people were seriously injured.
“Right now, I will ask for the update again later, for the victims that two people died, then five were seriously injured,” National Police Inspector General Public Relations Division Chief Dedi Prasetyo said.
Earlier, the West Java Regional Police sent a special team to investigate the train technical accident for the Jakarta Bandung High SpeedTrain (KCJB) project. One of them is also deploying Puslabfor Polri team to carry out Crime Scene Processing (TKP).
Reported detikjabar, the accident occurred on Sunday afternoon (18/12). The exact crash site is on the runway fast car Campaka Village, Campakamekar Village, Padalarang District, West Bandung Regency.
“We sent a team. Then we brought a team from Puslabfor Mabes Polri,” West Java Regional Police Criminal Investigation Directorate Kombes K Yani Sudarto said at the scene, Sunday (12/18).
