2 accused in Sylhet murder case arrested from Dhaka

RAB has arrested two accused from Dhaka in the case of murder of Shaon Ahmed (17) in Sagardighi Par area of ​​Sylhet city. Sylhet RAB-9 and Dhaka RAB-1 cooperated early on Saturday (November 2) and arrested them.

Those arrested are – Salim (20) son of Nurul Amin and Rabbi (21) son of Masuk Mia in Bagbari area under Kotyali police station.

RAB Deputy Director of Police Moshihur Rahman Sohel confirmed this information on Saturday morning (November 2). He said that on the basis of information, RAB cooperated and arrested Salim and Rabbi in front of Samulkhar complex under Uttarkhan police station in Dhaka. A case of murder is pending against them in the Metropolitan Police Station at Kotyali. The accused fled to avoid arrest. Also, RAB is working to arrest other accused in the case.

It is known that Shaon was seriously injured by a group of youths on October 18 around 7:30 in the evening. He died while undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Osmani Medical College Hospital around 11pm that day. The deceased is Shaon son of Salim Mia of Bankalapara, Subidbazar, Sylhet city.
