With an investment of 2.5 million pesos, the municipal president, Dr. Luis Antonio Medina Jasso, donated the flag for the rehabilitation of the San José de las Rusias-La Piedra highway, which is in very good condition due to the time that road was built and no maintenance had been given.
Accompanied by the ejidal authorities and the beneficiaries of the works, the mayor announced that the rehabilitation of said road was one of the commitments made with the families of the communities of this area south of the municipality, such as San José and La Piedra, but which will benefit Carrera Torres, 5 de Mayo, La Lobera and Los Eslabones.
The Municipal President announced that the rehabilitation of this state road consists of a cold pavement where the most damaged parts are located, with the aim of restoring it to optimal conditions for the circulation of vehicles, which is widely used by families throughout that region.
