2.5 Million Bulgarians Donate to “Bulgarian Christmas” Campaign – Concert Criticized for Poor Quality

The good news – 2 and a half million Bulgarians donated to the “Bulgarian Christmas” campaign.

The bad – the concert “Bulgarian Christmas” was a homemade kitsch of a playback, with bad sound and smelling of mothballs.

Conclusion – we Bulgarians are truly compassionate and good people. And generous.

In any country with traditions, such a “spectacle” would not lead to donations, but to the bankruptcy of the television that realized it.

Time for this playback thing to end. While I was a municipal councilor, every year I suggested to a committee that there should be no money for the New Year’s program in the square until it stopped being played (the New Year’s program was part of Sofia’s cultural calendar). Colleagues reacted with cheerful comments and ignoring.

Stop playback! Fire the talentless teams! And check the settings of the repeaters, because in my humble opinion there are some extreme limiters that do not allow us to hear 70 percent of what is happening in the hall.

And so…
