DG-Net, the ISP operating in Silesia published a report for last year. The company generated PLN 15.6 million in sales revenues and EBITDA of PLN 1.9 million, as we reported in the report from the fourth quarter of 2023.
Now the operator has provided some information about its operational activities.
The management board of DG-Net emphasizes that its network has already covered a large area of the Silesian Voivodeship, including its largest cities, i.e. Katowice, Gliwice, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Będzin and Sosnowiec. Many other towns in Poland were also connected, including parts of the city of Warsaw, economic zones in Opole, Konin and many smaller towns in the rest of the country.

The management board considers obtaining funding in the National Reconstruction Plan competition to be a great success – “Providing access to very fast Internet in white space areas.” Thanks to the positive evaluation in the competition, DG-Net received funding from the State Treasury in the amount of PLN 21 million for the expansion of the latest generation fiber optic broadband network in the Silesian Voivodeship. The investment covers over 6.1 thousand. address points from digitally excluded areas, and its total value is nearly PLN 32 million.
