Numbers in sharp decline as regards the Coronavirus in the province of Rimini where the only data on the rise is that of the recovered. In fact, 27 new positives have emerged in the last 24 hours of which only 9 are symptomatic and at the same time no deaths have been recorded. As far as positivity is concerned, there are 13 male patients and 14 female patients; 18 asymptomatic and 9 symptomatic. And in detail: 7 for symptoms; 19 for contact tracing, most of them family members and already in isolation at the time of diagnosis; 1 test per category. About 61 healings can be estimated.
At the regional level since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 381,439 cases of positivity were recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 412 more than yesterday, out of a total of 21,799 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 1.8%. In the meantime, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, which in this phase concerns the health care staff and the Cra, including inpatients of residences for the elderly, most of them already immunized, those over 80 in home care and their spouses, if they are 80 or more years old. and people aged 55 and over. In Emilia-Romagna even 40-49 year olds, i.e. those born between 1972 and 1981 inclusive, can register online for the administration of the anti Covid vaccine by connecting to the website of the Region https://salute.regione.emilia-romagna.it/ candidatures-vaccination the same available for the age group 50-54 (those born from 1967 to 1971 included).
The progressive count of the administrations carried out can be followed in real time on the portal of the Emilia-Romagna Region dedicated to the subject: at 4 pm a total of 2,323,039 doses were administered; out of the total, 787,516 are second doses, ie people who have completed the vaccination cycle.
The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 154 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. Overall, among the new positives 190 were already in isolation at the time of the swab execution, 232 were identified within already known foci. The average age of new positives today is 37.5 years. Of the 154 asymptomatic, 113 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 10 through the tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 12 with serological screenings, 8 through pre-hospitalization tests. An epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 11 cases.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 93 new cases and Parma with 79; followed by Modena (66), Reggio Emilia (38) and Ravenna 31; then Rimini (27 cases) e Cesena (23 cases), then Forlì (20), Piacenza and Ferrara (both with 14 cases) and, finally, the Imolese district (7). These are the data – ascertained at 12 noon today on the basis of institutional requests – relating to the progress of the epidemic in the region. In the last 24 hours, 10,444 molecular swabs were performed, for a total of 4,673,948. In addition, there are also 11,355 rapid tampons. As for the total number of people healed, they are 903 more than yesterday and reach 347,102. The active cases, that is the actual patients, to date are 21,208 (-498 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, are a total of 20,230 (-452), 95.4% of the total number of active cases.
Unfortunately, there are 7 new deaths: all occurred in Bologna (a 93 year old woman and 6 men 56, 61,71,72,78 and 87 years old respectively). No deaths in the other provinces. In total, there have been 13,129 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.
Patients admitted to intensive care there are 127 (-10 compared to yesterday), 851 those in the other Covid departments (-36).
