Frankfurt is getting its own gaming convention. The 1st Massif Games Convention wants to be more than just a trade fair.
The gaming scene will be happy: from February 19th to 22nd they can visit the first ever gaming convention in Frankfurt. The so-called “1st Massif Games Convention” takes place in the Massif Central in Bethmannhof.
The organizers say it is a mixture of trade fair, interaction and lectures. Visitors can not only listen to the lectures or talk to personalities from the industry, but also try out products directly on site.
Augmented reality, gamification or even e-sports
Each day of the event will have a different motto. The entire spectrum is served – from augmented reality to gamification and economics to e-sports with Eintracht Frankfurt as well as art and culture. There will be topic-related panels and developers who will provide insights into their work.
Various artists will also present their AI-generated works. There will also be an e-cycling tournament on Wednesday, February 21st.
The exhibitors and participants include various companies, players and experts from the video game industry, but also politicians such as the Frankfurt Economics Department Head Stephanie Wüst (FDP) and Digital Department Head Eileen O’Sullivan (Volt).
