For the first time, the LSB and the Aktionsbündnis Fairer Handel Berlin are organizing exciting workshops together on November 17th.
Full-time and volunteer employees from sports associations and sports clubs as well as politicians and anyone interested in sustainable change can currently register for the first Berlin Day of Sustainability in Sport. The initiators are the Berlin State Sports Association (LSB) and the Fair Trade Berlin Action Alliance. The event will take place on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Gerhard Schlegel Sports School (Priesterweg 4-6 B, 10829 Berlin).
The three topic blocks “Fair Procurement”, “Sustainability Certification” and “Ideas Workshop” will focus on concrete options for taking ecological and social responsibility in the capital: How can more fairly traded sports balls, textiles and materials be used in sports clubs? What can sustainability certification do? move in sport? What creative ideas are there when it comes to sustainability on and off the pitch in Berlin sport?
