Some 52 puppies and 05 kittens are waiting to find a new home. In this edition, South American families will also be able to come with their pets and they will receive free services such as a rabies vaccine and deworming.
In order to give our four-legged friends a home, the Municipality of Santiago de Surco organizes the “1ST ADOPTATON SURCO 2024” – an initiative that in this edition seeks the adoption of puppies and kittens that were rescued and are today in the municipal shelter.
In this “1ST SURCO ADOPTION 2024”, which will take place from March 1 to 3 in the Friendship Park, 52 dogs and 05 cats will participate. Likewise, South American families will also be able to come with their pets and they will receive free services such as a rabies vaccine and deworming at affordable prices, as well as microchip application and the quintuple vaccine for dogs and triple feline vaccine.
The day, which takes place on Av. Caminos del Inca cdra. 21 with Calle Inquisición Urb. Prolongación Benavides, starts at 11:00 am until 5:30 pm and will feature surprise shows, as well as other activities for the delight of the whole family.
It is worth highlighting the commitment of Mayor Carlos Bruce who, since the beginning of his mandate, has led various initiatives to promote the responsible adoption of pets. The “Illuminating Lives” program, through its interactive murals, achieved the adoption of 63 pets in 2023, generating a positive impact on the lives of more than one million people.
So far in 2024, the Municipality of Surco once again celebrates the increase in adoptions, with a total of 70 pets that already have a new home. Neighbors and visitors are invited to participate in this activity and give these loving beings the opportunity to be part of their lives.
GIVEN:
