19th Ordinary Session – August 15

With the presence of 19 senators and chaired by the Vice Governor Anthony Moroccothe 19th ordinary session of the Senate was held.

The updating of the electrical and water services will be governed by the IPC File No. 90-32.833/2024

A Senate Bill was approved Esteban D’Andrea, Jorge Soto, Dani Nolasco, Manuel Pailler, Gonzalo Caro Dávalos, Miguel Calabro, Walter Aban, Juan Cruz Curá, Gustavo Carrizo, Leonor Minetti and Alejandra Navarro whereby, from the effective date of this regulation, the update factor of the Added Value of Distribution of the rates for Electric Energy services and the update factors of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Services of users throughout the provincial territory corresponding to the period 2024 may not exceed the calculation of the coefficient of variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published monthly by the INDEC, for the period to be considered. It goes to the Chamber of Deputies for review.

Green Cane Day File No. 91-45.545/2022

The Bill under Review was also finally approved, declaring September 26 of each year as Green Cane Day, an instrument of mobility and orientation for people with low vision established by National Law 25,682. It is now sent to the Executive Branch for promulgation.

Request for repair of Campo Alegre Dam

Through a Declaration, Senators Enrique Cornejo and Miguel Calabró request the Provincial Executive Branch, through the competent agencies, to provide the necessary measures and resources for the repair and maintenance works of the Campo Alegre dam located in the La Caldera department to ensure the provision of water for human consumption, and also for agricultural and industrial development in the Capital and General Güemes departments.

Donation to the municipality of La Caldera File No. 91-49.923/24

The Bill under review was given final approval, authorizing the Provincial Executive Power to transfer, as a donation, to the Municipality of La Caldera the property identified with the Registration Number 1878 of the department of La Caldera, with the charge of being used exclusively for the municipal cemetery. It is now passed to the Executive Power for its promulgation.

Offering to Pachamama

Prior to the Session, as every year, the celebration of Pachamama was held in the venue, led by Festo Chauque and Susana Rivero, members of the Council of Elders of the new Pachacutec.
