A shipment of 192 thousand Sinopharm vaccines arrived that Saturday in the country and, in this way, Argentina exceeded 65.8 million doses received since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, another 1.4 million doses of the same Chinese vaccine will arrive in the afternoon and the number will rise to more than 67 million.
The first shipment landed at 6.55 in the morning on Lufthansa flight LH 510., while for 19.10 the arrival of the AR1073 of Aerolneas Argentinas is scheduled, with another 1,440,000 doses.

On Friday, another shipment with 1,440,000 of Sinopharm arrived from Beijing which, together with today’s two flights, will complete more than 3 million Chinese vaccines arrived in the last two days to the country.
With the arrival of this new batch of vaccines, Argentina has 65,884,420 vaccines against Covid-19.
Of this total, 27,416,000 correspond to the Sinopharm laboratory, 14,234,820 belong to Sputnik V (9,775,655 from component 1, and 4,459,165 from component 2), and 2,945,500 to Sputnik V produced in Argentina by Richmond Laboratory (1,179,625 for the first component, and 1,765,875 for the second).

Tomorrow the arrival of another two flights from Beijing is expected and the country will add a total of 3,072,000 vaccines in just 48 hours.

The AstraZeneca signature corresponds to 16,966,900 doses (580,000 from Covishield; 1,944,000 received by the Covax mechanism, 13,200,500 from AstraZeneca and Oxford whose active ingredient was produced in Argentina; and 1,242,400 donated by Spain). Meanwhile, 3,500,000 to Moderna donated by the United States, 400,000 to Cansino and 421,200 to Pfizer.
