NEW YORK — New York City police are searching for the person who stabbed a 19-year-old multiple times Monday afternoon in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was ambushed by a stranger with a knife who stabbed him multiple times in the torso, face and arm on Third Avenue around 2 pm, authorities said.
Video released by the NYPD shows the two fighting in the middle of the sidewalk as bystanders rush to surround them. It’s unclear what sparked the fight.
The 19-year-old was taken to a hospital and is expected to be fine.
