A 19-year-old man driving a scooter in the Bronx died after at least one suspect shot him Saturday afternoon, New York City Police announced.
The shooting occurred on Saturday at around 1:30 pm, in the area of 429 East 156 Street, when two suspects got out of a vehicle Honda Pilot and apparently one of them shot several times at the young man when he was on his scooter, authorities reported.
Both suspected gunmen returned to the car and fled east of East 156 Street, the police added.
The victim ended up with a gunshot wound to the head and right leg and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
