MOGADISHU, KOMPAS.com – One 19 year old girl of Somalia died after him raped by 11 people and then dropped from the sixth floor.
The victim, identified as Hamdi Mohamed Farah, was booked into meeting a male friend, before she was later attacked.
The violent action reportedly took place in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, on Tuesday last week (9/9/2020), with 11 perpetrators already detained.

Police in the East African country said they were still trying to reveal whether there were additional perpetrators.
“We have detained 11 people in the rape case in the Wabari area, Mogadishu. We are still trying to identify and trace other suspects,” explained the police.
The rape and murder of Hamdi, a 19-year-old girl who is a student, provoked anger and protests there.
Local media quoted Daily Mirror Friday (18/9/2020) reported that Hamdi initially left home at noon to meet friends.
Her family then received a call from the morgue, where the teenager was raped before being dropped from the sixth floor.
“The case of rape and murder of Hamdi has shocked Somalia. We will not remain silent until justice is served,” said lawmaker Sheikh Ali Duhulow.
His colleague Hassan Moalim has made it clear to the public that they will continue to work until the late Hamdi gets the justice he deserves.
Bilan Bile from the Somali National Women’s Organization stressed they would launch an action to demand punishment for bullies.
“We will also encourage women to let go of the negative stigma of seeing rape as an unreportable incident,” she said.
