19-Year-Old Claims Million Euro Damages for COVID-19 Vaccine-Related Paralysis

El Ministry of Health adds a new setback in relation to the COVID-19. A 19-year-old from Écija (Seville), claim a million euros as damages for allegedly being paralyzed by the vaccine. Apparently the victim has a 84% handicap and he has evidence that would support his claim.

According to the EFE news agency, the events occurred after the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine. Fernando Osuna, the young man’s legal representative, maintains that they have various medical reports that would corroborate that the 84% disability, which he has certified, is directly related to the dose administered last September 23, 2021.

In the complaint, the young man recounts his terrible experience until he finds himself in a situation that makes it impossible for him to move. Supposedly, shortly after the second dose, the victim felt “small sensory alterations with weakness in both arms” and that, already in December 2021, they turned into back and leg problems that led to serious difficulties in walking.

Consequences of the second dose

After going to Emergency service of the Hospital de Alta Resolución de Écija, he was referred to the Virgen del Rocío hospital in Seville and, on January 5, 2022, he was transferred to the Spinal Cord Injury Unit area. On August 26, he left the center with a diagnosis of “mielitis transversa in temporal relation to the second dose of vaccine with covid”.

Interestingly, in the discharge part It appeared: “Incomplete spinal cord injury of sensory level C7 right/C6 left, and motor level C7 right and C8 left of medical cause probably related to inflammatory etiology.” At the end of 2022, the 84% disability was recognized by the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality

According to the lawyer, the young man was a active athlete before what happened and, after it, would have spent more than 6,000 euros in various therapies in private centers and trips to Seville.
