The arrested man is suspected of attempted serious assault on a police officer.
This happened when heavy fireworks were set off from a group on the Parade. Finally, fireworks were also thrown at a police officer. Officers chose to ask the group from a distance, using a megaphone, to leave the Parade. When there was no response several times, officers formed a line to force the group to leave.
