19 days of riots: Women in underwear join protests in Mongolia

In Ulaanbaatar, protesters, who have been going on since Dec. 3, stripped down to their underwear as activists demand that those responsible for large-scale coal thefts be held accountable. In this regard, referring to Mongolian media and social network posts, he writes RIA Novosti.

According to the publication, earlier during the riots, only men dropped their clothes in the cold. The day before, about 30 naked opponents staged a sit-in in front of the Government House. The shareholders requested permission to attend hearings on the “coal” case in the Great Khural State of Mongolia. The conditions of the protesters were monitored by doctors.

“That’s the only way they’ll hear from us! I’ve also been a civil servant. We Mongolians are truly powerless. Natural resources have been plundered by a greedy few!” – said one of the undressed women.
