In November, 294 people were forcibly returned from Norway. 112 of these were expelled for reasons of public health.
The monthly figure is the lowest so far this year.
While 308 people were forcibly returned in October, the number was 2,102 in September.
The decline is due to the fact that the entry restrictions to Norway from the EEA / Schengen area were removed on 25 September, the Police Immigration Unit (PU) states.
So far this year, 18,519 people have been forcibly returned.
Last year, the number was 8,677 people at the same time. A total of 10,041 people were forcibly returned last year, which was a record.
91 percent of all forced returns this year are due to entry restrictions related to the corona pandemic.
