Pas-de-Calais: 21 kg of cocaine discovered on the beach of Berck
Several cocaine loaves, weighing a total of around 21 kg, were discovered Thursday morning on the beach at Berck (Pas-de-Calais), the prosecution announced.
“Twenty-one kilos of cocaine were discovered by a walker”, who immediately alerted the police, said the deputy prosecutor of Boulogne-sur-mer, Patrick Leleu, confirming information from the daily The voice of the North.
The prosecution seized the judicial police, he added, without further details at this stage. Already last September, a dozen cocaine loaves were found on several beaches in Pas-de-Calais, between Ambleteuse and Cap Gris-Nez.
