The 18-year-old was caught shoplifting along with an 11-year-old boy. They became taken to the office from the supermarket, the police report. The oldest suspect would then have asked if he could smoke a cigarette.

Overpowered
Once outside, he pulled a weapon from his pocket and pointed it at the security guard. That weapon turned out to be fake. The security guard did not know that, but he managed to overpower the suspect. In doing so, he received help from two store employees.
The 11-year-old boy and the 18-year-old man have been taken to the police station. The 18-year-old man turned out to be under the influence of alcohol.
