An 18-year-old who is said to have stabbed a 23-year-old with a knife in Linz at the beginning of November was investigated and arrested by the police on Friday. The exact personal description that the victim’s girlfriend was able to make after the attack led to success.
The 18-year-old was identified as a knife stabber by the 23-year-old after the arrest. The accused has so far remained silent during interrogation, the police reported. The Afghan was taken to the Linz prison.
On Saturday afternoon of the first week of November, he and the 23-year-old got into an argument in the Kudlichstrasse area. The younger grabbed the knife and stabbed the opponent in the torso with it. The bleeding victim came to the Kepler University Hospital and had to undergo an operation, his life was out of danger.
The Afghan fled after the attack. An immediate manhunt was then unsuccessful.
