An eighteen-year-old man was arrested on Monday on suspicion of possible involvement in a violent incident on the street in Leek, Groningen. A 52-year-old man died as a result of the incident.
The incident took place on Monday around 2:30 am on the Windsingel in the Wolveschans district in Leek, the Groningen police reported. After the incident, the man from Leek died in his home.
Later that day, an eighteen-year-old man from Leek was arrested because he may have been involved in the incident.
The investigation is still in full swing, the Groningen police report. Therefore, anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
