18-Year-Old Hacker Sentenced to Indefinite Hospitalization for Leaking Grand Theft Auto VI Materials

Eighteen-year-old hacker Arion Kurtazh from an international gang Fallwho leaked Grand Theft Auto VI materials online, was sentenced to indefinite hospitalization. In July he was declared insane, which is why he did not appear in court. However, the jury found him and his accomplice guilty.

Kurtaj suffers from autism and was violent during his time in custody. He received complaints of bodily harm and property damage. Court regarded his behavior as dangerous to society.

The hacker will spend the rest of his life under guard in a hospital: he will be able to leave it only if the doctors consider that he no longer poses a danger.

Kurtazh was out on bail for burglary Nvidia and BT/EE and under police supervision when he carried out the break-in Rockstar. His laptop was seized, but he only had an Amazon Fire Stick streaming device, a hotel TV and a mobile phone. Hacker stole 90 videos from Grand Theft Auto 6 and then hacked Slack company to threaten to publish the source code.

Since Rockstar did not negotiate, Kurtaj posted the videos and source code on the forum under the username TeaPotUberHacker. He was subsequently re-arrested and detained pending trial.
