With the intention of entering Germany without permission, an 18-year-old tried to evade police measures with the help of a bank note. The Konstanz Federal Police Inspectorate initiated an investigation.
While checking a cross-border coach on the route from Milan to Hamburg, officers from the Konstanz Federal Police Inspectorate discovered an Afghan national at the Konstanz-Autobahn border crossing yesterday evening (September 12, 2023). He did not have the identification documents required to enter and stay in Germany with him. When the federal police asked him to get off the bus, he took 20 Swiss francs out of his trouser pocket and offered it to the officers. The federal police rejected the banknote.
The young man was not allowed to enter the country due to the lack of residence documents. The federal police sent him back to Switzerland and initiated an investigation on suspicion of attempted bribery and attempted unauthorized entry.
