TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM – Salewangang College of Health Sciences or Salewangang Maros held community service activities in Maros, Thursday (15/7/2021).
A convoy of 9 cars moving towards the hamlet of Kuncio, Desa Tompobulu, Maros Regency.
After being delayed due to the pandemic, Stikes Salewangang again carried out service activities in this hamlet with a population of 400 families.
Chairman of the event committee Apt. Arifuddin YunusSFarm MSi conveyed that the patterns of service during the COVID-19 pandemic could continue.
“Because during the new normal period, it can help the community and hopefully more lecturers will be inspired to help,” he said.
“In activities that have to interact directly with the community, participants still adhere to the Health protocol,” he continued.
Furthermore, Arifuddin Yunus say Salewangang Maros committed to continue community service activities that had been delayed.
“Education, research and community service are the Tridharma activities of higher education which have challenges in their implementation in this era of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
According to the rules of the Chairman Salewangang Maros only those who have been vaccinated can participate in this activity.
So the participants of service to the community came down as many as 18 people, consisting of lecturers and staff went down to the field
