An 18-month-old baby suffered burns on his body with boiling water in Vila Praia de Âncora, Caminha, and was transported, in a state of emergency to the São João hospital in Porto, civil protection said.
According to a source from the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) in Viana do Castelo, “the child, male, suffered second and third degree burns on the trunk, back and upper limb with water from an electric kettle”.
The warning was given at about 13:23 to Rua da Aldeia, in Riba d’Âncora.
The firefighters from Vila Praia de Âncora and the Medical Emergency Vehicle (VMER) from Viana do Castelo attended the scene.
