As an advertising face and TV personality, Verona Pooth has enjoyed absolute cult status in Germany for decades. The German-Bolivian was an influencer before there was Instagram and Co. and has perfectly managed to use the media for her business.

She also built up sympathies in the rap scene some time ago. In late 2019, she appeared in the intro to the music video for “Tiffany.” In a BILD interview, the 53-year-old also showed that she was open to rap music and recognized the humor in the lyrics. Definitely an act of honor from Verona.

“When I got this request, I first listened to the song and immediately thought ‘Tiffany’ was great. The opener with a parody of all the celebrity magazines – and therefore also of me – convinced me, that’s my sense of humor too. You shouldn’t always take yourself too seriously, and you shouldn’t always weigh the rap lyrics on the gold scales. I like exaggerated and critical.
(…) I got to know Michael Schindler in a completely different way: he was very friendly, sensitive and an absolute gentleman. I don’t know who he knows or doesn’t know. I got to know him as a talented, cool artist who gets up to 20 million views for his music videos. I also got to know him as a loving father. His 4-year-old son also makes a brief appearance in the ‘Tiffany’ video clip for the first time.”

But after this positive experience in the rap scene, there is now a frontal attack. 18 Karat-Signing Liyah is the first rapper signed to his female-only label Supremas. On her new single “Eins-A” she cut out her first diss line and shot against Verona Pooth:
