The Croatian citizen living in Vienna committed numerous administrative violations and was investigated on Sunday. According to law enforcement, the teenager was in possession of a prohibited weapon and several stolen license plates. The young driver was first noticed by the police on Saturday around 5 p.m. The Croatian drifted in a roundabout in a car with a Vienna license plate. The 17-year-old continued his tour quickly. On the B303 it reached 187 km/h at a permitted speed of 100 km/h, and in the Jetzelsdorf area it reached 130 km/h at a maximum permitted speed of 50 km/h. Police said he ignored stop signs and several other road users were forced to slow down and evade.
Persecution was broken off in Hadres
The patrol pursuit was broken off in Hadres – “due to the risky driving style and the danger to other road users and pedestrians” posed by the speeder, as it was said in a broadcast from the Lower Austria State Police Directorate.
