The Experimental University Film Group (GECU) of the University of Panama and the Fundación pro Artes Escénicas y Audiovisuales will present a total of 12 recently produced Central American films, during the 16th Ícaro Panama Film Festival 2023, the entity reported this Saturday, April 26. August.
With free admission, the films will be screened from September 25 to 30 at the University Cinema and from October 2 to 6 in 10 venues in David and Puerto Armuelles, Chiriquí province and in Changuinola and Almirante, in Bocas del Toro.
The 16th Ícaro Panama 2023 Film Festival arrives in the provinces of Chiriquí de Bocas del Toro with the collaboration within the Fundación Montilla.
The event will feature short and feature films, from genres such as fiction, documentary, animation and experimental, from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama, as well as a special guest, one from Spain, and will also include a series of workshops, seminars, round tables and conversations that will be given, also free of charge, by leading specialists from Latin America.
