There is a mystery surrounding the death of the mayor of Yakoruda Nuredin Kafelov, the inhabitants of the small town of about 10 thousand inhabitants have been asking for it for several days now. They were shocked after it was revealed he was found dead in his BMW late Monday afternoon.

His driver and the local DPS chief found him and at around 4.30pm made a police report. Earlier in the day, Kafelov refused his driver to take him from his home to the municipality because he had a personal job and was walking in the tourist area of ​​Treshtenik above the city. Hours later, his phone was turned off and the two went looking for him.

They found the car in the town of Tsrvula, on the road to Treshtenik. Kafelov was in the back seat with a gunshot wound to the head.

An operational-investigative group was convened which began an inspection at 19.00. At first, the police who arrived immediately did not dare to open the vehicle as they thought it was locked and cordoned off to secure the scene. Then it became clear that the car was unlocked.
