“166 hospitals in the UAE: Federal Statistics Reported in Gulf Newspaper”

The Federal Center for Competitiveness and Statistics revealed that the total number of hospitals in the UAE reached 166 (of which 54 are governmental and 112 are private), and the latest statistics revealed that the number of medical centers and clinics reached 5,301 centers and clinics.

According to the center’s statement, the total number of hospital beds reached 18,363 (of which 9,784 beds are in government and 8,579 in private).

He also indicated that the total health workforce in the medical sector in the country amounted to 135,929, including 27,268 human doctors, 7,476 dentists, 12,481 pharmacists, in addition to 59,798 male and female nurses and 28,906 radiologists and laboratories.

The number of hospital visits (visits) and those who were treated in the country during 2021 reached about 24,839,535, and residence cases reached 746,876 cases.
