On Thursday 2 September, 163 new infections were registered in Trondheim. Once again, we are recording the highest number of infections in one day since the pandemic started.
In addition, we have been notified of approx. 100 positive rapid tests that will now be followed up with PCR tests.
The age distribution among the infected is as follows:
Age group 0 to 10 years: 6
Age group 10 to 20 years: 33
20s: 108
30s: 5
40s: 5
50s: 2
60s: 1
70s: 2
90s: 1
There are 82 men and 81 women among those infected.
A total of approx. 2400 PCR tests at our test stations on Thursday. Of these, 1279 were collected and delivered at the new self-test stations at Leangen and in Munkegata. The number waiting for a test is about halved compared to the situation at the beginning of the week.
If you want to pick up a self-test instead of using the booked hour at our test stations, the booked hour must be canceled. It is best that you cancel the test class digitally on the same form where you booked the class.
As of today, a total of 256,697 vaccine doses have been set in Trondheim.

Second dose: 104,537
The coverage ratio is now 88.8%. It has gone down from yesterday due to. that we have now admitted the 16 and 17 year old to the vaccine. The coverage rate for the second dose is now 61%.
