160 people, Bulgarian MPs, sold their souls.” This is how BSP-Left Bulgaria MP Stoyan Mirchev begins his personal statement. And he continues:
Neighbors of Greece refuse Western loans, postpone taking, look for revival in their economy to stop taking loans. And the government of Boyko Borisov and his puppets instead of 4 billion for KTB increased their new credit to 8 billion for 2015, and now they surprised us with another 16 billion BGN.
Who is the real coalition in this madness?
I have been talking about the real GERB-DPS coalition for a long time. Only naive people have so far refused to see this obvious fact. Both GERB and DPS pretend to be opponents. But already several times, when making decisions that are fatal for Bulgaria, they vote together, DPS supports GERB, Mestan kisses Borisov again. I hope today there are no more naive people left, today there should be no more illusions. National traitors are in their element.
Let’s recall the facts:
The contract with the dealer banks was signed by Minister Goranov on February 6. This is actually his personal contract. It is as if there is no Government, no Prime Minister, no Parliament.
Days after February 6, signatures were collected from the ministers to support the contract of Minister Goranov. This contract was not discussed at a Government meeting, there is no Government decision on it. For those who do not know, let me say that decisions of peripheral importance are approved by signature, without a meeting. It is absurd that such a contract, with such importance for the fate of Bulgaria, is not even submitted for official discussion at a meeting of the Government.
I expect Boyko Borisov, when he gets hot under his feet, to wash his hands of Vladislav Goranov. This will probably happen weeks before Borisov falls from power again. Just like he tried to wash his hands of Simeon Dyankov two weeks before he fell from power in 2013. Do you remember?
Another cynicism. Many experts have said and proven authoritatively that if we have to take a new loan to cover old debts, the necessary amount is about BGN 10 billion. Vladislav Goranov knows that this is true. He himself, in a moment of softening, hinted in the Parliament that the amount of the requested credit could be reduced by BGN 4 billion. After the vote, we see that they are greedy to take this BGN 4 billion as well.
What are they for? For scrapped aircraft from the US? For financing the command center and NATO tanks in Bulgaria against Russia? For renovating the panel blocks in Stolipinovo, Plovdiv? To buy more Mutren companies to buy votes and scare voters in the upcoming local elections?
What are these unsaved BGN 4 billion new debt for? Probably all of the above. This seems to be a plan to finance staying in power for a long time. The people of Bulgaria will repay this loan in order to be disabled and enslaved for a long time to come.
I hope that this plan of Boyko Borisov and his masters will not succeed. I want the BSP to take a really firm position against such a plan and all concrete actions for its implementation. I remain optimistic that we can fight this colonial policy towards our Motherland.
We young people in the BSP and the left, in general in Bulgarian politics, are charged with a huge responsibility to get Bulgaria out of this trap. The trap that suffocates it deforms everything in our country, turns it into a devastated country and a polluted territory.
