According to the city of Cologne yesterday, Monday at 4:01 p.m. in Cologne clinics, 324 people were treated with a coronavirus disease. 95 patients required intensive medical care. The clinic numbers do not only refer to people who have their primary residence in Cologne.
RKI reports 19,528 new corona infections – more than 700 dead
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) reported 19,528 new corona infections early Tuesday morning. That was 35.3 percent more than on Tuesday morning a week ago, when the RKI reported 14,432 new infections within one day. It should be noted, however, that no data from Saxony was reported in the past week.
In addition, the RKI now reported 731 deaths within 24 hours in connection with the virus. The number of active cases with evidence fell slightly to 366,500. Meanwhile, 5,160 Covid-19 patients were treated intensively in the intensive care units early Tuesday morning. The previous day there were 121 fewer at the same time.

Yesterday, 216 people tested positive for the coronavirus. There were no coronavirus-related deaths in Cologne yesterday, Sunday. For Germany as a whole, the numbers are stagnating at the level of the previous week.
