16-year-old with almost 2 per thousand and without a driver’s license caught by the police after an accident – Primavera24

MÖMLINGEN. A whole series of violations were revealed during a traffic control in Mömlingen. On Saturday night at 1 a.m., a patrol from the Obernburg police stopped an Opel Zafira in Königswaldstrasse.

The officers immediately noticed a decent alcohol plume from the driver. The check also revealed that the driver is only 16 years old and therefore does not have a driver’s license. When asked how he got the car with which he was traveling, a wanted alert for the Opel became known, as the insurance had expired in March.

To make matters worse for the driver, a resident reported to the officials during the inspection. He said that shortly before the police stopped him, the driver bumped into his parked car and ran away. A blood sample was taken from the driver on the basis of an alcohol test that showed almost 2 per thousand.

Since he does not have a domicile in the country, the public prosecutor’s office has been asked to issue a power of attorney to forward court letters to Ukraine. A security deposit was not ordered. Due to the lack of vehicle insurance, the victim of the accident only has to try to collect his damage in the amount of approx. 500 euros directly from the driver.
