Two days after the devastating earthquake in the Aegean Sea between Greece and Turkey, a 16-year-old girl was taken from under the rubble alive by rescue workers. Rescue workers have now rescued more than 100 people trapped under collapsed buildings. On Sunday morning, another 70-year-old man was rescued. Meanwhile, more than 40 deaths have been reported, more than 800 injured.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 6.6 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was about 17 kilometers off the coast of Izmir at a depth of 16 kilometers and could be felt along the coastline of Izmir and as far as the Greek island of Samos, the island of Crete and even as far as Athens and Istanbul.
