NEW YORK – A 16-year-old teenager shot his mother inside a Staten Island residence on Saturday night, according to New York City Police.
The police report indicated that the incident occurred at about 6:40 p.m. in a house located in the 134 from Burbank Avenue. The 51-year-old woman was shot in the back and transported to hospital Staten Island North in stable condition, added the Uniformed.
Police also revealed that the boy’s father was in the hospital for a cut, but it is unknown how he was injured.
The minor is in custody.
The cause of the incident was not disclosed.
This is a case under investigation.
