For the ASEAN Marathon Swimming Championships, the program “1st SEA Open Water Swimming Championships 2023” in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Between February 2-4, 2023, there are 3 types of competition: 5 km distance, 10 km distance and 4×1.5 medley relay (6 km).

There are 16 Thai athletes participating in the competition, all athletes selected from the marathon swimming competition. The final of Thailand 2022 last time on December 24-25, 2022 at the Royal Navy Rowing Training Center (Khlong Bang Phai), Ban Chang District, Rayong Province.
