In Kyiv over the past two days, 16 sabotage and reconnaissance groups were discovered. This was announced by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Gruzevich at a briefing on April 7.
“For two days in Kyiv itself, 16 DRGs were caught by joint actions. We thought it was quiet, but the enemy is here. Only yesterday we carried out a sweep of one area, caught one group: a handful of sensors that target missiles. That is, neglect air safety rules are not worth it,” he said.
As Gruzevich noted, there are also recruited Ukrainians from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in the DRG. They are under investigation.
According to the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, checkpoints will remain on the roads in order to further identify sabotage and reconnaissance groups in Kyiv.
Earlier it was reported that the unit of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is deployed in Lviv, successfully destroyed enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group.
