Despite the Corona 19 shock, exports are continuing, mainly for passenger cars and semiconductors.
The Korea Customs Service said on the 1st to 20th this month that exports amounted to 30.4 billion dollars, up 16.7% from the same period last year.
Even considering that the number of working days was 1.5 days less than last year, the daily average export value increased by 29.2%.
By item, passenger cars surged 45.9%, and wireless communication devices and semiconductors also showed high growth rates of 33.6% and 27.5%, respectively.
On the other hand, exports of petroleum products and computer peripherals fell 5.7% and 4.8%, respectively.
By the 20th of this month, the amount of income was $31.6 billion, an increase of 24.1% from the same period last year.
By item, gas surged the most at 59.6%, while crude oil and petroleum product imports fell 17.8% and 13.3%, respectively.
