A 15-year-old resident of Texas, USA, shot his parents, younger sister and dogs, and then committed suicide. Before pulling the trigger for the last time, he published photos of the killed relatives on the Internet, GlasNews.bg writes.
On September 15, there was a celebration in the Colburn family: Jana celebrated her 53rd birthday with her husband William, daughter Emma and son William Queens III. Police are now trying to determine at what point everything went wrong.
The 15-year-old reportedly killed his family by shooting his 63-year-old father, mother and 13-year-old sister. He then killed the dogs that lived in the family and posted bloody photos of his victims on social media.
William also threatened to show up at school with a gun on Thursday morning, Sept. 16, and carry out a massacre there.
Police quickly found out the teenager’s whereabouts and immediately went to the address. However, they failed to keep the suspect alive.
As they stormed the house, police heard gunshots and the sound of a body falling to the floor. William Queens Colburn shot himself after everything he did. Law enforcement is currently trying to understand why the teenager brutally killed his entire family on his mother’s birthday.
Jana Maria’s eldest daughter Martin Butts is raising funds in connection with the tragedy.
“We woke up this morning with a sense of joy and wanted to congratulate Mom on her 53rd birthday. Instead, we heard horrifying news that devastated us. We are in so much pain! We don’t understand how this could have happened. We are angry. “And lost. Despite everything, we all mourn,” the woman told the media.
At the school where William Queens attends, they said they did not notice the teenager’s strange behavior, and expressed condolences over the loss. According to San Patricio County Sheriff Oscar Rivera, the investigation is ongoing and there are still many questions for police to answer.
