ABU DHABI, 2nd November, WAM / His Excellency Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice President of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, confirmed that the launch of the 15th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship exceeded all expectations, in light of the high number of families attending, to support the sons and daughters participating in the Junior Jiu-Jitsu Festival.
Al Dhaheri said in his statements that the tournament currently being held at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City continues its success in attracting more male and female players from all over the world and in various age groups, which indicates the increasing popularity of the game globally.
He pointed out that the current version of the tournament is exceptional by all standards in terms of increasing competition days, the value of prizes, and public attendance, all of which are indicators that confirm that the game is on the right path to spread locally, regionally and globally.
The Vice President of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation confirmed that the Federation worked to allocate many areas inside and outside the fight hall to provide all amenities for the public, which contributed to the high attendance rate.
