Cliff 15 meters high in the village of Kebon Kelapa, Kota Bogor Experience Avalanche and prevails over the general fishing area. Five people were buried by the landslide.
“After the rain we received reports from local residents, it is estimated that 5 fishermen are buried here,” said Maruli Sinambela, commander of the BPBD Bogor City (Danru) team when he met at the landslide site on Tuesday (10 / 11/2022).
“So what was hit by the avalanche was a public fishing site, there were several fishermen there,” he added.

Two of the five people who had been buried had been successfully evacuated. One of them was pronounced dead.
“Two people were successfully evacuated and taken to Bogor City Hospital. The condition of the victims, one survived but was injured, while another person died,” said Maruli.
Testimony of the residents
The owner of the fishing named Omah said the landslide occurred around 4:30 pm WIB, when it was raining heavily. Omah said he was in the room when he heard a loud noise.
“It happened when it was raining, I was in my room. I was surprised to hear a loud sound, I immediately jumped to look behind me,” Omah said.
Omah immediately ran behind his house and saw a number of people running around. “This is behind the people who are already running, the cliff behind the landslide, the fishing gear,” he said.
